Pediatric Problems

Osteopathy has been used for over a century to successfully treat a wide variety of pediatric problems. It is frequently considered the safest and most gentle way to care for most common problems in children of all ages, especially newborns. This includes:

Colic
Plagiocephaly
Torticolis
Nursing Problems
Reflux/spitting up
Constipation
Allergies
Asthma
Recurrent respiratory problems
Ear infections, effusions
Learning disabilities
Behavioral Problems
ADD, ADHD
Autism
Failure to Thrive
Cerebral Palsy
Strabismus
Postural problems
Scoliosis/curv. of the spine
Sprains and strains
Difficult to Treat Problems
Difficult to Diagnose Problems
Orthodontic problems
Vision Problems

...and much, much more.

Children usually have a stronger immune system than adults, hence a much greater potential to improve. Some children may not be as easy to treat as they may not want to lie down on the treatment table. Even so, very good results can usually be obtained. The younger the child, the greater the potential, but, again, patients of all ages may be treated successfully.
